Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as a hand truck
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and addressing any concerns or issues
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with operating a box truck
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods
- Attention to detail to ensure delivery of product
