Key Qualifications:
- Active OT licensure required
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Familiarity with occupational health and best practices in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite three days per week at an elementary school and one day at a high school
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to support student development, participation, and success
- Document progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
- Support students in developing functional skills for academic achievement and daily living
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultative input for student success
