Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. (Must be punctual and reliable)
Pay: $20–$26 per hour (depending on experience; higher for proven landing gear assembly/overhaul expertise)

Company Overview
Suncoast Landing Systems is an FAA-certified repair station (certificate S7SR177E) specializing in aircraft landing gear overhaul and repair, particularly for Boeing systems. Located in Medley, FL (near Hialeah/Miami), we're currently strengthening our Assembly Department to support growing demand for high-quality, reliable landing gear services.
Job Summary
Perform precision assembly, build-up, and final assembly of landing gear components and assemblies in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures. Ideal for candidates with aviation experience, especially in landing gear overhaul or repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble landing gear components and subassemblies using common mechanic tools and precision equipment.
- Read, interpret, and follow manufacturer's assembly instructions, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Identify and document service-related defects, nonconformances, or issues during assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Ensure all work meets FAA standards, quality requirements, and OEM specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and quality inspectors as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in aviation maintenance, repair, or assembly (landing gear overhaul experience strongly preferred).
- Ability to use common mechanic tools (hand tools, torque wrenches, measuring instruments, etc.).
- Strong ability to read and understand manufacturer's manuals and assembly instructions.
- Skill in identifying service-related defects and quality issues.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and safety.
- Ability to keep a clean and organized work area.
- Reliable and punctual – must be able to consistently work the 6:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. shift.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications (e.g., A&P license) a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Boeing landing gear systems or similar commercial aircraft components.
- Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station processes.
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on overhaul/repair background.
