Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical systems. A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction is essential.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, focusing on most models.
- Diagnose issues related to automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Maintain, align, and weld parts as necessary to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Experience with powertrain diagnostics and repairs.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality in repairs and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required
