Path 2 Purpose Behavioral Health LLC is a CARF-accredited behavioral health organization serving Baltimore City and Caroline County, Maryland. We provide a full continuum of care, including Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Mobile Treatment Services (MTS), and substance use disorder services. Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our growing clinical team. Under the supervision of a Maryland Board-approved supervisor (LCSW-C), the LMSW will provide direct clinical services to adults and adolescents within our OMHC and IOP programs, including assessments, individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and care coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for an LMSW working toward LCSW-C licensure — clinical supervision hours are provided at no cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial (BPS) assessments and intake evaluations
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care)
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Treatment and Rehabilitation Plans (ITRPs) in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary team
- Facilitate IOP group sessions and psychoeducational programming
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in our electronic health record in compliance with COMAR, Medicaid, and CARF standards
- Coordinate care with psychiatric providers, PRP staff, case managers, and external referral sources
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement activities
- Respond to client crises and conduct risk assessments as needed
- Maintain a caseload consistent with program and productivity standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
- Active LMSW license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners
- Knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and clinical documentation standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Preferred:
- Experience in an OMHC, IOP, PRP, or community behavioral health setting
- Experience serving individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Familiarity with Maryland Medicaid, Carelon Behavioral Health, and ASAM criteria
- Experience with electronic health records (iCanNotes a plus)

Schedule
Monday to Friday; some evening availability preferred for IOP groups. Hybrid options available depending on service line.
