Major Responsibilities:
Assist in the organization and completion of resident work orders placed within the community and assure they are completed in a timely manner.
Follow the instructions of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to complete work orders, property maintenance and any preventative maintenance required throughout the community. Communicate with maintenance and office staff all pertinent information necessary to maintain resident satisfaction and customer service.
Must be able to accept the 24-hour emergency on-call maintenance phone responsibility based on schedule.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated, service-oriented, self-starter
Strong people/communication skills
Skilled in HVAC (certification preferred), electrical repair, plumbing, carpentry etc. Good problem-solving ability
Ability to organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate work in order to meet deadlines Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
Must be able to paint.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and pull at least 75 pounds.
Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
