Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while managing your own vehicle. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to choose your routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain your own truck, ensuring it is in good working condition for safe transport.
- Transport various types of freight, flatbed loads, and general cargo.
- Access to Amazon Relay Load board where you can book your own loads.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
- No touch freight, Most trailers will be preloaded or Empty.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations governing commercial driving.
