Front of House/Barista Job Overview
Filigree Bakery is looking for a reliable, friendly team member to join our front-of-house staff. This position includes helping customers, making espresso drinks, stocking the bakery, assisting the kitchen when needed, and keeping the bakery clean and organized.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly service.
- Take customer orders and process payments.
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages.
- Restock pastries, drinks, and retail items throughout the day.
- Package baked goods and prepare customer orders.
- Help the kitchen with basic prep and other tasks as needed.
- Wash dishes and keep the kitchen and front counter clean.
- Keep displays stocked, organized, and looking their best.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work as part of the team to keep the bakery running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Customer service or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Barista experience is a plus, but we're happy to train.
- Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Weekend availability and evenings is required.

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
