Atlas Pallet is seeking a dependable maintenance worker to help keep our facilities, equipment, and grounds safe, clean, and operating properly. The maintenance worker will perform routine inspections, basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep while following all safety procedures and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on buildings, equipment, fixtures, and grounds.
- Inspect facilities to identify repair needs, safety concerns, or maintenance issues.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and general repair tasks.
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and properly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Report larger repair needs, equipment issues, or safety hazards to a supervisor.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- On-the-job training is required and will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and complete assigned tasks reliably.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to support trucking fleet with road service calls
- Forklift certification preferred, or ability to become forklift certified
- Ability to support snow removal during the winter season
- Tools are a plus but are not required
Preferred Experience
- Experience with wood processing equipment from industrial saws, pallet grinders, etc…
- Experience with forklift maintenance
- Experience with trailer maintenance
- Experience with tractor maintenance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb as needed during the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment as required.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM
