Our TEAM is seeking an experienced Safety Manager for our Southeast Region, based out of Montgomery, Alabama. This position is part of our existing Safety Department and encompasses a mid-level management role with extensive growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
- MANAGE jobsite safety ensuring safe work operations and accident prevention
- CONDUCT regular safety walks, inspections, hazard assessments, and investigations
- PREPARE detailed report writing, safety documentation, and recordkeeping
- SAFETY LIASION between jobsite, client management, and company leadership
- SITE SAFETY SPECIFIC PLAN analysis, develop, prepare, document, and implement
- DEVELOP Job Hazard Analysis, pre-task safety planning, and critical planning
- FOLLOW-UP on action items, corrective actions, audits, and management directives
- FACILITATE safety orientations and construction industry safety compliance training
- ENSURE safety culture is aligned with all health and safety policies, regulatory compliance standards, and workplace safety protocols.
- MAINTIAN jobsite housekeeping, functions, initiatives, and campaigns up-to-date
- COLLABORATE with cross-functional teams including safety personnel, project mangers, supervisors, and field workers
- COMMUNICATION is key for resources, support, and critical notifications.
Skills
- REQUIRED: any one Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certificates; CHST, STSC, OHST, SMP, GSP, ASP, CSP
- 5-10 years safety experience in construction, industrial, or heavy manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, standards, and rules
- Strong leadership focus and behavior adaptation in a diverse workforce
- Excellent report writing skills combined with analytical abilities and documentation
- Ability to deliver effective safety training sessions on safety practices
- Proficiency in computer skills and up-to-date on navigating technological platforms
- Proficient in current Microsoft 360 Office, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
