Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Customer Service and Dispatch Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Answer inbound calls professionally, efficiently, and according to standard operating procedures.
- Leverage MS Teams for all calls; avoid providing personal contact numbers to customers.
- Attend to all customer questions and concerns to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Inputs data accurately for customer orders, pick-ups, and service work orders.
- Serves as liaison between the customer, sales team, and dispatch.
- Coordinate and schedule service calls for technicians based on customer needs and technician availability.
- Utilize logistics software to manage dispatch operations effectively.
- Monitor fleet management activities to ensure optimal vehicle utilization and compliance with safety regulations.
- Analyze geographic information systems (GIS) data to optimize routing and improve service efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics or transportation management is preferred.
- Bilingual a must (Spanish or Portuguese)
- Strong understanding of fleet management principles and practices.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail..
