American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry position requiring telemetry strip interpretation, a minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience, and an active MA RN license.

41-bed Medical Telemetry unit (Davenport 7)

Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI cases
-
Night shift: 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required

36 hours per week
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6 on nights

Required skills include cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, telemetry strip interpretation, TR bands, and hi-flow oxygen

EMR: Epic
-
Floating to applicable units required when needed

Free on-site parking available

Active, non-conditional MA RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Current AHA-certified BLS required (AHA only; no other providers accepted)

Current AHA-certified ACLS required (AHA only; no other providers accepted)

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a single position, plus at least 2 years of travel nursing experience

Ability to interpret telemetry strips required

Epic EMR experience

2 professional references required

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions

All certifications must be AHA-issued only

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
