Who We Are Looking For
The role reports to the CEO and includes both Enterprise and Channel Sales activities and is a key component of the Cobalt Iron Sales go-to-market strategy. This role blends direct end-user sales with a focus on channel partnership development. The candidate will drive revenue through both direct and indirect sales efforts, including named account development, prospecting, channel program execution, and partner recruitment.
This position is both revenue- and relationship-focused. A day in the life includes end-user prospecting, C-level engagement, channel-driven deal support, joint business development initiatives, deal desk coordination, pre-sales and training support with Solution Architects.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and expand sales opportunities with enterprise clients and named partners
Recruit, onboard, and support channel partners, including SIs and xSPs
Coordinate channel marketing campaigns and programs with Marketing to build a qualified pipeline
Build and execute sales account plans with enterprise and channel sales teams
Prospect and engage at C-level, VP, and Director levels
Collaborate with Solution Architects to manage technical sales cycles
Maintain strong collaboration with internal sales and technical teams
Leverage HubSpot CRM to track and manage pipeline, activities, and performance
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, including direct and channel sales
Success in achieving sales goals, with a track record in enterprise data protection, IT solutions, or related fields
University degree (preferably in business or technology disciplines)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with end-user and channel sales (both preferred)
High level of interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Competitive, driven, and results-oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Proficiency and diligence with CRM platforms; HubSpot experience preferred
High degree of organization, coordination and responsiveness
The ability to write creative emails and other types of follow-ups
The ability to think quickly and ask good questions in live situations
