The Pet Barber, located in Houston, is looking for a manager. We are a fast paced, busy grooming salon with three locations in River Oaks, Memorial and the Galleria. You would be traveling between all three locations. Responsibilities include:
1. Managing front desk operations to ensure booking is accurate and KPIs are met.
2. Manage daycare operations.
3. Manage bathers and groomers (though not responsible for any grooming techniques)
4. Responsible for sales initiatives.
5. Employee scheduling
6. Day-to-day operations of all three shops
7. Inventory management
8. Creating new initiatives for retail and daycare
9. Ensure clients are happy and feedback is positive.
Desired experience
1. At least 2 years of management experience, including people management. Preferably in a pet store setting.
2. Proficient in Word and Excel
3. Social media experience is a plus
4. Sales experience is a plus
5. Reliable transportation.
