Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and willing to learn automotive tear down / warehouse employees. You will be tasked with tearing down / disassembling old, broken, or used transmissions or transfer cases. This requires using power tools and manual labor. You will identify and remove damaged parts; and then provide the quality components of these units for our drivetrain specialists to re-build with. We will teach you how to tear down, you will also be sandblasting parts, loading items in part washers, sorting, and preparing boxes/crates for shipment. This position requires a good work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training will be relatively quick, you will be required to pay attention to detail and perform manual labor but it will not be as intensive as a construction job etc. There will be many opportunities for pay and career advancement as high as potentially $25 -$27 an hour within 9-10 months but only if you are willing and capable to be trained to become a full automotive rebuilder. However, this career path is not required if you only want to be a warehouse worker and do teardown. We are a rapidly growing small business and are looking for long term employees. If you have any automotive experience at a shop, remanufacturing facility or manufacturing facility, we highly encourage you to apply. If you do not, but have proficient skill in using power tools and are capable of doing manual labor then we also encourage you to apply. Becoming apart of our operation does not require significant past mechanical experience but mainly a willingness to learn. We hope to provide an environment/opportunity for our employees to grow with a long term career path.
