LVI Counseling and Recovery is a clinician-owned and operated practice. Because we are therapists ourselves, we truly understand the clinical work—we know that private practice is about human connection and sustainable care, not just a numbers game.
We are expanding our clinical team and looking for passionate LPCs and LACMHs, licensed in DE or PA, who want the freedom of private practice without the administrative overload. We prioritize clinician well-being, healthy work-life boundaries, and empowering clients through structured, goal-oriented care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.
- Deliver individual, child & family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability during emergencies.
- Facilitate specialized counseling sessions including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and pediatric mental health support.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and medical documentation requirements while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate clinical documentation, patient care records, and progress notes following clinical ethical guidelines.
- Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, treatment planning, data collection, and follow-up to promote optimal client outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Provide telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health services across diverse settings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Professional Counseling or related mental health field.
- Licensure: Active LPC or LACMH (Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health) license in Pennsylvania or Delaware (or active state board supervision plan).
- Compliance: Active NPI number and CAQH profile (or willingness to complete setup prior to launch).
- Insurance: Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance ($1M/$3M limits).
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and commitment to timely documentation (notes locked within 72 hours).
