Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological innovation and strategic direction. Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology strategy aligned with overall business objectives, emphasizing innovation, scalability, and security.
- Lead the design and development of complex system architectures, including distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise applications utilizing technologies such as AWS, Azure, React, Angular,.NET, JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, PHP, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and more.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure including network architecture (WAN), cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, FISMA/NIST standards compliance), data management security, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity strategies.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by integrating AI solutions such as machine learning and natural language processing to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
- Manage technical project portfolios through Agile methodologies; supervise project managers and technical teams to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Establish and maintain information security compliance programs aligned with ISO 27001, PCI standards, FISMA regulations, and other relevant frameworks to safeguard company data assets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategic plans for IT governance, risk management, budget allocation, and resource planning.
- Foster a high-performance technology team by recruiting top talent in software development (React Express applications), system design for scalable systems, cloud development practices, DevOps processes, and cybersecurity expertise.
- Negotiate vendor contracts for cloud services (AWS/Azure), hardware procurement (firewalls), software licenses (Microsoft Office), and other technology resources to optimize costs while ensuring quality standards are met.
Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience in managing large-scale IT operations within fast-paced environments; minimum of 10 years in technology management roles with increasing responsibility.
- Extensive background in computer science or related fields; advanced knowledge of system design for system development including distributed systems architecture.
- Demonstrated success leading digital transformation projects leveraging AI integration—machine learning models or natural language processing—across enterprise platforms.
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST standards; experience managing information security compliance programs like PCI DSS or FISMA is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms including AWS and Azure; proficient in cloud infrastructure setup for scalable systems.
- Skilled in project management methodologies such as Agile or ITIL; capable of supervising multiple teams through complex SDLC processes from conception to deployment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills suited for executive-level interactions; adept at translating technical concepts into clear strategic insights for non-technical stakeholders.
