Job Summary:
Provides program planning, coordination, administration, and supervision (as applicable) for CRC prevention programs. Appointed by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth to serve under the Whole Child Matters Grant as a Master Trainer for 18 counties within Northwest Ohio. Master Trainer develops and provides a variety of mental health focused trainings for early care providers within assigned region. The Master Trainer also communicates with state grant leads and attends meetings on a regular basis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Master Trainer
Develop, submit, and provide a variety of mental health trainings throughout the 18 counties defined under the Whole Child Matters grant.
Develop relationships with early childhood providers throughout the 18 counties for the purpose of creating referrals for trainings.
Recruit agencies/centers for trainings and manage training schedule with expectation of providing an average of 2-4 trainings per week.
Attend all meetings and trainings required by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth.
Input, collect, and report data to DCY.
Program & Administrative
Monitor referrals, scheduling, and utilization of IECMH trainings
Promote trauma-informed care by utilizing the core values and tools of trauma-informed care with both clients and staff
Coordinating inter-agency and intra-agency activities with treatment team/providers (this includes participating in staff meetings and team meetings)
Demonstrating respect for other professionals and disciplines
Articulating client needs and advocate on their behalf
Negotiate and be flexible with treatment providers both within and across agencies, leading to implementation of appropriate service plans for clients
Professionalism
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in health and human services field (required)
Master’s degree in health and human services field (preferred)
Exceptional organization, reading and writing skills (required)
Experience with data tracking (required)
Maintain current licensure/certification (when applicable) with identified state boards for the state of Ohio
Experience working with infants, toddlers, young children, adolescents, and families (caregivers)
A satisfactory criminal records check (BCI and FBI check)
Valid driver’s license and transportation with insurance
Ability to utilize computer programs such as:
Microsoft programs such as Teams, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
Electronic Health Record (when applicable)
