We are seeking a NYS certified Teacher to join our educational team in September 2026. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and development. Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
- Collaborate with other educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and safe learning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Must hold a NYS teaching Certification in B-2 or 1-6
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to create lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching are essential qualities for this role.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with technology in the classroom is advantageous, as well as the ability to integrate digital tools into lesson plans.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
