The Shipper Team is an important link in our proven ability to provide exceptional customer service. We are looking for a high-energy, positive individual with 2+ experience, preferably in the distribution warehouse environment.
In this position you will be primarily responsible for:
- Checking the accuracy of orders by comparing picked material against the shipment pick ticket
- Packing material for ground and truck shipments in appropriate boxes and pallets as required to protect material from damage and meet freight carrier requirements
- Complying with any customer or order-specific shipping requirements
- Processing ground packages for shipping and applying carrier labels to packing list and associated boxes
- Pick orders accurately and proficiently
- Must have good attendance and be on time
- Lift up to 70lbs often
- forklift, reach truck, cherry picker skills are a huge plus
You must possess the following qualifications to be considered for the position:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Great customer service
- Basic math skills, including the ability to count and use a calculator
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing work priorities
- Capability of maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or equivalent, and/or similar working experience
