Work four days per week and be home every night (Tuesday - Friday).
This is a fast paced, physical position delivering beer to multiple stops to various customer locations throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.
This position is responsible for unloading and rotating product into the customer's facilities. Job includes lifting of cases weighing up to 50lbs. and moving half barrels weighing 165 lbs.
Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain in 30 days with training. No major driving citations in the past 5 years.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport and deliver goods to specified locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift or heavy machinery
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations
- Communicate with Sales Manager and customers to coordinate delivery details
- Handle any necessary paperwork or documentation related to deliveries
Experience:
- Previous experience as a truck driver, particularly in delivery or route driving, is preferred
- Familiarity with operating roll off trucks, dump trucks, forklifts, or other heavy equipment is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
