About the Opportunity:
The Buyer I supports day-to-day purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials are available to support production. Working under guidance from senior buyers, Buyer I gains hands-on experience with ERP systems, supplier communication, and manufacturing supply processes while building foundational procurement and negotiation skills.
Location: Stuart, FL - Onsite.
Responsibilities:

Executes purchase orders and manages routine buying activities
-
Supports expediting, order tracking, and issue resolution
-
Maintains data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems

Works under close supervision
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
At least 1 year of purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.

Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field
-
Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience
-
Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization tools to drive efficiency and readiness.

Familiarity with MRP messages, purchase requirements, deferring/requesting material based on suggested need dates, and an understanding of Bill of Materials.

Experience working and communicating with suppliers
-
Ability to manage cross-functional and matrixed teams and drive collaboration across departments.

Ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and make informed decisions regarding readiness planning and process improvement.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment requires you to pivot and adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.

Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Working Conditions

Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.

Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor

Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
