As a Telecommunications Associate, you will represent Verizon by meeting directly with residential customers to educate them about the latest Verizon wireless and home service solutions. As a Telecommunications Associate, you will engage face-to-face with prospective residential customers throughout designated territories. TheTelecommunications Associate’sgoal is to provide exceptional customer service while introducing Verizon products and services that best fit each household's needs. Every Telecommunications Associate receives comprehensive training, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
This is a customer-facing position that combines customer service, relationship building, and sales on behalf of Verizon. Previous experience is helpful but not required, we provide the training you need to succeed as a Telecommunications Associate.
What You'll Do as a Telecommunications Associate
- Meet with residential customers on behalf of Verizon
- Educate customers on Verizon wireless, internet, and communication services
- Deliver outstanding face-to-face customer service
- Help customers enroll in new Verizon services and promotions
- Build lasting customer relationships through professionalism and integrity
- Answer questions and recommend solutions based on customer needs
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales documentation
- Work with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment
Telecommunications Associate Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with new people daily
- Customer service or sales experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
