The Role

You’ll be a part of the Business Development team driving the outside sales success. A Business Developer defines superior service to brokers and all internal customers. You understand that this is more than just having and managing a book of business. You’ll achieve both the sales goals and service levels of the organization by developing and maintaining strong partnerships and always striving to exceed expectations. Responsibilities

Seek and connect with new broker partners in assigned territory with set metrics and goals

Cultivate relationships and maintain long-term partnerships through face to face visits and constant touch point engagements

Educate brokers on our value proposition and why OAM is changing the mortgage industry

Bring on your existing brokers and ensure they are properly trained

Provide best-in-class client service through friendly, professional, and responsive communication with both internal and external customers

Monitor your accounts with a continual focus on innovating the customer experience and business processes
Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of related experience as a Wholesale Account Executive

College degree is desired

Sales guru motivated to always meet or exceed goals and expectations

Proven ability to creatively source and develop new business while also focused on how to continually nurture current business

Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced start up environment and adapt successfully in the face of ambiguity

Stellar organizational skills and attention to detail

Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and close the deal

Exceptional written and oral communication and influencing skills
