We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Freight Loader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently, ensuring shipments are handled with care and prepared for timely delivery. This is a fast-paced, physically active position ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently
- Sort, stack, and organize freight according to company standards
- Verify shipments for accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting during transport
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Previous warehouse or loading experience is a plus, but not required
- Team player with a strong work ethic
Pay: $24.40 - $29.40 per hour
