Position Overview
Elite Industrial Controls (EIC) is looking for a skilled Laser / Punch Operator to run our Trumpf laser and Amada punch press equipment. This role is critical to our production flow and directly impacts the quality and efficiency of everything we build.
We’re looking for someone who knows how to run equipment, stay organized, and keep production moving — not someone who needs constant direction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment
- Operate Amada punch press for sheet metal fabrication
- Load, unload, and stage sheet metal for production runs
- Read and follow work orders, prints, and cut programs
- Inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
- Perform basic machine setups and adjustments
- Keep material flow moving efficiently across jobs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Experience running CNC laser and/or punch press equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail — parts must be right the first time
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Comfortable with a fast-paced production environment
- Forklift experience required
- Willing and able to be trained on overhead crane operation
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with Trumpf and/or Amada equipment
- Sheet metal fabrication background
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine or program issues
- Strong work ethic and reliability
