Cycle City Ltd. is currently hiring for Service Consultant positions at our Cycle City Hawaii Location.
Job Responsible are the following;
- Must always be accountable of errors and actions;
- Maintaining Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, region, and national standards;
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business;
- Greeting customers immediately in a prompt and courteous manner;
- Communicating with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s);
- Obtaining and verifying customer and vehicle data, address, home phone number, cell number, email addresses and any discounts if applicable;
- Advising customers on the care of their motorcycle and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, using maintenance menus (if applicable);
- Promoting the sale of labor, parts and accessories without losing sight of the fact that you are to be an advisor to the customer;
- If additional work is needed, explaining the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration;
- Obtaining customer’s signature on repair order; provide customer with copy;
- Following up on progress of each repair order daily. Contact customers by telephone regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised. Record any changes on repair order in approved fashion;
- Delivering Motorcycle to customer and answer any questions;
- Listening to customer’s needs and concerns;
- Assisting with handling customer complaints and or misunderstandings with courtesy, tact and in a manner that is consistent with company policies and goals;
- Estimating costs and completion times at point of sale. Clearly communicate them to customer;
- Explaining work and cost on the Repair Order to the customer and address any concerns and answer any questions they might have before sending them to the Cashier;
- Confirming that the customer is satisfied with the work performed and thank them for their business before releasing their vehicle;
- Maintaining a dealership-prescribed standard for “hours per customer repair order written;”
- Scheduling service appointments;
- Other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent. Must have at least 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience preferred. Must have general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. One year experience in sales or front-line customer service position or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Must have the ability to operate heavy weight motorcycles (approx. 800 lbs.) and drive them around the facility. Must have the ability to use a computer workstation including keyboard, mouse, and printer, fax and credit card machine, and internal phone systems. Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract. Must have a motorcycle endorsement or be able to obtain one within a provided time period given.
