Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. They will maintain the upkeep of grounds including, but not limited to mowing, landscaping, snow removal, etc. General housing repairs include, but not limited to structural, weatherization, painting, plumbing, etc.
Duties
- General housing repairs to rental units as provided in work orders
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Use a scissor lift for elevated repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs
- Provide excellent customer service while performing field service duties
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- General plumbing repairs
Qualifications
- Plumbing experience for maintenance and repair tasks
- Electrical experience for maintenance and repair tasks
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively
- Familiarity with ticketing system for repair requests (work orders)
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with residents
- Maintenance background
- Knowledge of general maintenance tasks
- Ability to read, write and understand English
Educational/Experience:
High School diploma or GED and at least three years of mechanical work experience preferred.
