About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This
role handles day-to-day repairs, preventive maintenance, and special projects to keep our property
running smoothly and guest rooms in top condition.
Schedule
5 hours/day, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Available all 7 days of the week; specific working days to be arranged
based on property needs and candidate availability.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry
- Respond to maintenance requests from guest rooms and common areas
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance (HVAC/PTAC units, appliances,
fixtures)
- Complete assigned projects (room refreshes, furniture assembly, minor renovations)
- Maintain exterior areas: parking lot, landscaping touch-ups, signage
- Track and report inventory of maintenance supplies
- Document completed work orders and follow up on outstanding issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes
Qualifications
- 1+ years of general maintenance or facilities experience (hotel/hospitality preferred)
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
Preferred
- Experience with PTAC unit maintenance
- Prior hotel or multi-unit residential maintenance experience
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
