Based in New Hartford, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-performance work environment. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician at Riverhawk Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment within our facility. You will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machines, supporting both day-to-day operations and the long-term performance of our equipment. This is a full-time opportunity on our first shift.
What you'll do:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, including CNC machines, conveyors, and other mechanical systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues

Conduct inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime

Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems as needed

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules

Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and ensure efficient production processes

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment

Continuously monitor equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause disruptions

Assist with building and facilities maintenance as needed, including painting, plumbing, HVAC, and general cleaning
What we need:
Applicants should have the following skills and abilities.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred

Proven experience in machine maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with various tools, equipment, and machinery

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and its importance in reducing downtime

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Willingness to work overtime and occasionally on weekends if machines are down

- Pay range - $21-25/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skills, and education as they relate to the position's qualifications.)
