The Estimator role is responsible for identifying project opportunities, developing scopes of work, preparing estimates, and supporting the successful execution of stormwater maintenance and repair projects. This position works closely with clients, field personnel, and operations teams to deliver solutions that protect our environment and keep stormwater systems functioning properly.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Review inspection reports, site assessments, plans, and specifications to identify maintenance and repair opportunities
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for stormwater maintenance and repair services
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations
- Obtain pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, property managers, municipalities, and contractors
- Track bid opportunities and maintain organized estimating records
- Assist with identifying additional service opportunities for existing clients
Qualifications:
- Construction, maintenance, environmental services, stormwater, or civil construction experience preferred
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and estimating software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Valid Driver's License

- Stormwater maintenance and repair
- Detention ponds and stormwater BMPs
- Erosion and sediment control
- Construction estimating
- Zoho CRM and/or BuildOps
- Environmental, construction, or engineering-related industries
