In your role as a Support Service Professional, you will assist an amazing 14 year-old young man with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. He has the desire to self-direct and make choices in his life. He would also like to grow in the areas of communication and daily living skills. As a Support Service Professional, you will need to provide supervision at all times, both in his home and community, to ensure his safety. He utilizes coping skills when he is upset or frustrated. He requires transportation to access his community and participate in preferred activities. He also needs assistance with his daily living skills. Engage with him in his desired activities at home, such as coloring or crafts, and assist him in expanding his language skills. Provide support and prompt him through steps to focus and complete skills as needed. Your experience, support, and personality will assist him in successfully having choice and control and living his best everyday life.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
