Title: Utility & Labeling Specialist (Night Shift 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM Monday - Friday)
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Production Supervisor - Working
PZM is a Drug-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment, post-offer drug screens and background checks, as well as a physical assessment.
Objective:
To process raw dust tanks and run the processing equipment at the main and side stations to produce finished product from the raw zinc dust.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and adheres to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Process raw zinc dust tanks in the main and side dump stations.
- Change oversize drums when they are full. Weigh and record on appropriate paperwork.
- Packaging of zinc dust.
- Carry out written daily production instruction sheet and work orders.
- Monitor classifying system; establish set points and confirm proper running conditions.
- Pack to specified instructions.
- Monitor, pull and record T-dust and TF dust as required.
- Sample all goods according to PZM quality policy.
- Complete all required paperwork.
- Understand basic functions of all processing equipment and can identify when they are not working properly.
- Meet the daily housekeeping requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift a maximum weight of 50 pounds frequently
· Must be able to carry a maximum weight of 50 pounds occasionally.
· Must be able to push a maximum force of 75 pounds frequently; 150 pounds occasionally.
· Must be able to pull at a maximum force of 150 pound occasionally; 10 pounds frequently.
Positional Demands:
· Frequently standing, reaching forward, balancing, feeling, object handling, simple hand grasping, firm hand grasping and operating controls will be required.
· Frequent sitting, walking and fingering with occasional climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, and will be required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Longevity in prior employment positions is highly preferred.
- 1 Year manufacturing experience.
- 1 Year forklift experience preferred.
