Job Description: This position is responsible for aiding in building and coaching the competitive gymnastics programs at The Peach Pit Westside. The position provides leadership for the gymnastics programs including athlete development, parent and community relations. This includes instructing participants, overseeing safety, and creating innovative coaching styles, techniques and drills while maintain a posh boutique environment.
Essential Duties:
- Co-coach competitive gymnastics teams.
- Prepare students for meets and performances
- Communication with staff, athletes and parents in a timely, constructive manner
- Professional Development -- Attend Training, Clinics & Certifications
- Assist with equipment safety checks and equipment set-up/take down
- Communicate regularly with parents about students’ performance and strengths.
- Complete gym opening and closing duties each shift as assigned.
- Positive attitude that works well and collaborates well with other coaches
We are looking for two upbeat, self-motivated, outgoing and reliable coaches who have a love for gymnastics, tumbling, and children alike. We need one Competitive Gymnastics Coach with experience coaching up through Elite and one candidate with basic coaching skills who is hardworking and eager to learn. Gymnastics or teaching experience required but we offer a fabulous training program to share The Peach Pit Style of gymnastics education.
Job Type: Part-time & Full-time
Salary: $16.00 to $24.00 /hour
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
