As a medication technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents by:
Administering medications according to prescribed dosages and schedules
Documenting medication administration accurately and in a timely manner, in line with state regulations and facility policies
Monitoring residents for changes in physical or mental condition and reporting any concerns to the nursing team
Maintaining accurate medication inventory and reporting any discrepancies
If there is no Cart assignment you will be required to work as an Aide on the floor; Assisting residents with daily personal care tasks as needed (e.g., bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility)
Promoting resident comfort, safety, and dignity in all aspects of care
Following safety procedures, infection control protocols, and residents’ rights standards
Collaborating with nursing and caregiving teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
Communicating clearly and respectfully with residents, their families, and team members

HHA Med Tech overnight shift Starting at $25.50/hour
Shift Differential:
Evenings $5.00

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Medication Technician (CMT) or equivalent state-approved certification (preferred but not required)
Previous experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting (preferred)
Strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation and medication accuracy
Commitment to maintaining resident safety and following established protocols
Compassionate, patient, and dependable work ethic
Ability to perform basic caregiving tasks and assist residents with physical needs
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
