About the Role
As a Hardware Systems Engineer, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and fielded reality by leading the development of complex, multidisciplinary products. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in electronics and systems integration to drive innovation within a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities-
Architect and design robust electronic systems using Altium ECAD to meet rigorous performance and durability standards.

Drive the full product lifecycle from rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept iteration to final production readiness.

Integrate embedded software with mechanical and electrical hardware to create seamless, functional systems.

Execute comprehensive test plans to validate reliability, safety, and manufacturability under demanding conditions.

Analyze complex failure modes and implement evidence-based design improvements to enhance system performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize designs for cost, assembly, and inspection.

Document technical tradeoffs, design revisions, and test results to ensure seamless transitions into high-volume production.

Mentor team members by fostering a culture of technical rigor, extreme ownership, and practical problem-solving.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field.

3-5 years of professional experience in hardware development, product design, or systems engineering.

Advanced proficiency in Altium or equivalent ECAD design software.

Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with fabrication tools, test equipment, and physical hardware.

Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems independently.

Experience working within defense, aerospace, robotics, or other highly regulated industrial environments.

Familiarity with AS9100 standards, configuration control, and formal quality management systems.

Proven success in taking hardware projects from initial concept through to successful production release.

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements for diverse stakeholders.
