By working in both buildings, the Dean plays a critical role in supporting students as they transition from elementary to middle school, ensuring continuity in expectations, supports, and student-centered practices. The position provides the opportunity to influence school culture across both schools while collaborating closely with principals, teachers, counselors, and support staff.The Dean of Students serves as a visible and approachable leader focused on promoting positive student behavior, attendance, engagement, and overall well-being. The successful candidate will work proactively with students and families to address challenges, celebrate successes, and foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and belonging. The Dean helps implement restorative practices, supports student discipline processes, monitors attendance concerns, assists with conflict resolution, and works collaboratively with staff to create interventions that help students succeed both academically and socially.In this role, the Dean is much more than a disciplinary administrator.
