Job Title: Packaging Associate (Forklift)
Schedule:
1st Shift - Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
2nd Shift - Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (10-hour shifts)
Location: Fenton, MO
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Duration: 1 year contract with possibilities of extension
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator / Packaging Associate to support manufacturing and packaging operations in a production environment. This role is responsible for packaging finished products, operating a sit-down forklift, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Package, label, code, and stack finished products according to production requirements.
- Verify components and product codes against packaging orders.
- Place bottles on conveyor lines and prepare products for shipment.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and finished goods safely.
- Inspect products for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Support production activities and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred.
- Forklift experience (sit-down forklift required).
- Ability to read and understand production documents, safety procedures, and SDS information.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Experience in packaging, labeling, or production operations.
- Material handling and inventory movement experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong safety awareness and organizational skills.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
