Overview
Meyer Enterprises Group is a quality commercial and residential property maintence and construction company. We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team, specializing in various aspects of carpentry work. The ideal candidate will have experience in frame carpentry and finish work with a strong understanding of power tools and fabrication techniques. This role is essential in delivering high-quality craftsmanship in both new construction and remodel projects.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks including building walls, roofs, and frameworks.
- Hang doors and install hardware to ensure proper function.
- Fabricate custom pieces as needed for specific projects.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Participate in restoration projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other tradesman including electricians, plumbers, etc to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Carpenter
- Proficiency in frame carpentry, door hanging, metal stud framing.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols when working with power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
