About Enhaus
Most construction companies manage projects.
We're redefining how residential construction is done.
Enhaus is on a mission to become the $100M premier design-build firm in Los Angeles by 2033, not by doing what everyone else does, but by building a company around flawless systems, top talent, and an exceptional client experience. Every project we deliver moves us closer to that standard.
Right now, that also means showing up for Los Angeles in a meaningful way. We're actively working in communities affected by the recent wildfires, building homes for real families, not just delivering projects for developers. The work matters here.
We operate on three core values: Intentional Ownership - confidence, decisiveness, and full accountability; All In - reliability and complete commitment to the work and the team; and Relentless Creativity - solution-first thinking paired with calculated urgency. If those words describe how you already operate, keep reading.
The Role
We're looking for a Superintendent who does more than keep jobs moving - we're looking for the person our field teams turn to when something doesn't look right, doesn't fit right, or doesn't match the drawings. You'll oversee multiple high-end residential projects simultaneously, serving as the guardian of quality and design intent from preconstruction through closeout.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who solves problems before they become change orders, who reads a detail and understands why the architect drew it that way, and who holds subs to a standard most have never been held to before.
What You'll Do :
Quality Control & Design Intent
- Own quality control across multiple active projects - every inspection, every detail, every finish
- Ensure design intent is implemented correctly in the field; catch discrepancies between drawings and execution early, and resolve them before they compound
- Review plans, specs, and shop drawings proactively to identify conflicts, constructability issues, and missing information before they hit the field
- Conduct regular site walks with a critical eye - punch lists should shrink as the project progresses, not balloon at the end
Preconstruction & Construction Documents
- Participate in page turns of construction documents as plans are being built out - bringing a constructability and field-execution lens to the document set before it goes to the field
- Flag conflicts, gaps, sequencing issues, and missing details during CD development, so the documents we build from are clean, coordinated, and buildable
- Work alongside our PMs, APMs, and PCs throughout preconstruction to ensure the field perspective is embedded in the plan, not retrofitted after the fact
Problem-Solving & Field Leadership
- Serve as the first line of problem-solving in the field - when supers, subs, or trades hit an obstacle, you bring solutions, not just questions
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and architects to resolve field conditions while protecting design intent, budget, and schedule
- Anticipate issues across trades and sequence work to minimize schedule variance
- Escalate the right issues at the right time - with options already in hand
Team & Coordination
- Support multiple project teams across our portfolio, moving between sites as priorities demand
- Build strong working relationships with our PMs, APMs, PCs, supers, subs, and design team - this role only works if people want to call you
- Mentor field staff and raise the bar for what quality looks like on an Enhaus jobsite
- Communicate clearly and consistently - with the office, with the field, and when needed, with clients
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in senior field leadership, with significant time in high-end residential construction
- Proven ability to manage or support multiple projects simultaneously
- Deep knowledge of residential construction means and methods, building codes, and inspection processes
- Strong plan-reading skills and the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with precision - you understand design intent, not just dimensions
- Experience reviewing construction documents during development - page turns, constructability reviews, and document coordination are second nature
- A track record of solving field problems creatively without sacrificing quality
- A genuine team player - ego-free, collaborative, and committed to the success of the whole project, not just your scope
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Who You Are
Our culture is anchored by three core values, and we hire for them:
- Intentional Ownership - You operate with confidence and decisiveness, and you take full accountability for outcomes. No finger-pointing, no waiting to be told.
- All In - You're reliable and fully committed. When you say it'll be handled, it's handled.
- Relentless Creativity - You think solution-first and move with calculated urgency. Obstacles are puzzles, not excuses.
