Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Store Manager in Training to oversee our c-store operations. As the SMIT, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing staff, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, and improve operational efficiency

Manage and supervise a team of assistant managers and cashiers

Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency

Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standard for our guests

Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient operations
-
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for growth

Collaborate with Marketing Director and vendors to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the c-store industry

HS diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
-
A valid driver's license and ability to travel to visit multiple locations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks, responsibilities, and urgencies simultaneously

Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a retail gas station setting, in varying weather conditions when outdoors, which may include snow, rain, excessive heat and cold.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
