Location: MACC – Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY
MACC is seeking an experienced Barista with a passion for specialty coffee, latte art, customer service, and wine knowledge to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Create professional latte art consistently
- Maintain coffee quality standards and proper espresso extraction
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Educate customers about coffee and beverage offerings
- Assist guests with wine selections and recommendations
- Serve wine responsibly and in accordance with New York regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support daily café operations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous barista experience required
- Strong latte art skills required
- Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and coffee preparation techniques
- Knowledge of wine varieties, wine service, and food pairings preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- English required; Spanish is a plus
