Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter and paint preppers to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of industrial equipment, machinery, and structural components. Your expertise will ensure that products meet quality standards, durability requirements, and aesthetic specifications. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply coatings using airless paint spraying, brushes, rollers, or other hand tools with precision and consistency.
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials carefully during transportation and storage within the warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Perform basic measurements using precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application and alignment.
- Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting, welding, auto body repair, and materials handling.
- Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to coordinate painting schedules and meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial or construction painting, auto painting, or auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, spray guns (including airless paint sprayers), and precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality inspections.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding inventory management and materials logistics. Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
