Sourcing & Procurement Lead
Location is Chicago, IL
Job Description:
In the Sourcing and Procurement Lead role you will manage end-to-end execution of the Manufacturing Services program For USA and Canada, ensuring delivery of service excellence, spend consolidation, and measurable value outcomes. Act as the single point of accountability for achieving program’s commitments across CSAT, TAT, spend productivity, and value deliverables. Drive alignment between regional strategy and plant-level execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify & execute savings opportunities and monitor and report the savings pipeline
- Deliver Manufacturing Services savings, payment term optimization & inventory optimization pipeline targets.
- Ensure adoption and change management across stakeholders.
- Service Excellence: Own CSAT improvement targets and ensure >95% TAT adherence.
- Drive catalogue adoption and guided buying channel compliance
- Drive spend transition into preferred procurement channels
- Anchor the key internal & external governance meetings, focusing on the following areas: savings/productivity, escalation management, change management, key sourcing projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and finance to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Manage supplier relationships for strategic suppliers to ensure long-term value creation.
- Build capability and provide leadership & steer to the team members to attain the annual targets.
Qualifications
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the job description
Preferred
- 12–18+ years in sourcing
- Experience in MRO, and services categories.
- Strong background in services delivery and transformation programs.
- Proven ability to deliver savings and working capital impact.
- Experience in leading high-performing teams.
- Experience in food manufacturing or large engineering / automotive manufacturing organization.
- Experience of dealing with aggregators is a plus.
