We are seeking motivated and skilled Journeymen and Apprentice Electricians to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities, adhering to all safety standards and local electrical codes
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system configurations
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and connect industrial electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues within complex systems
- Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and other automation components for industrial applications
- Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously during all phases of installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance work
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment effectively while maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings; familiarity with industrial electrical systems is highly preferred
- Valid journeyman electrician license or current apprenticeship status with demonstrated progress toward certification
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70 compliance standards, and local electrical codes
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience working on high-voltage electrical wiring projects; knowledge of high voltage safety protocols is essential
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and circuit testers
- Construction site experience with a focus on renovation or new installations; familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Handyman skills including frame carpentry or general construction experience are considered a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance
