As a Vice President – Complex Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of large, complex bridge projects within our Design-Build portfolio. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from pursuit through project completion while fostering strong client partnerships and advancing our alternative delivery capabilities.
What You’ll Do
Lead the overall coordination and delivery of design for large, complex alternative delivery projects, including Design-Build.
Manage pre-tender design activities, including development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs).
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, owners, and key stakeholders.
Direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across multiple offices in high-intensity project environments.
Collaborate with project controls teams to manage cost, schedule, and earned value performance.
Ensure quality, technical excellence, and coordination across all project deliverables.
Oversee contract administration, financial performance, and project profitability, including billing and collections.
Develop project work plans, staffing strategies, and resource allocations.
Mentor and develop early-career engineers and technical staff.
Represent Jacobs’ Design-Build capabilities in key markets and at industry events.
Review and manage project schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies across design and construction phases.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and implement effective cost control measures.
Lead complex assignments and collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and partner organizations.
Prepare and deliver presentations and technical communications to stakeholders and leadership teams.
