Killington Vacation Rentals is looking for a reliable, hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Team Member to help keep our vacation homes and condos in top shape. If you’re handy, enjoy solving problems, and like a job where every day is different, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs at vacation homes and condos.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, heating, appliance, and other property issues.
- Handle routine property upkeep, minor carpentry, furniture assembly, landscaping, snow removal, and similar projects.
- Identify and address maintenance issues before they become bigger problems.
- Respond to guest maintenance requests and occasional urgent issues.
- Help inspect and prepare properties between guest stays.
- Travel between properties in Killington, Rutland, Pittsfield, Bomoseen, and surrounding areas.
What We’re Looking For:
- A dependable, self-motivated person who can work independently and as part of a team.
- General home maintenance and repair experience.
- Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or other trade experience is a big plus.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- A truck and/or 4WD/AWD vehicle is strongly preferred, especially for accessing properties during Vermont winters.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Weekend availability is required, as weekends are some of our busiest times.
