You'll be the horsepower behind the ground crew — running the grapple truck to load and haul tree
material, operating heavy equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator, or similar) on land clearing and tree
removal jobs, and stepping in on the ground when the crew needs an extra set of hands. No idle
operators here — when the machine isn't running, you're working.
■ Operate grapple truck to load, move, and haul tree debris and brush from job sites
■ Stage truck on-site to maximize crew efficiency and protect customer property
■ Operate skid steer, excavator, or other heavy equipment on clearing and removal jobs
■ Perform pre-op and post-op inspections daily — no exceptions
■ Identify and report equipment issues immediately — before the next use
■ Transition to ground crew support when equipment is not in active use
■ Follow all safety protocols; maintain exclusion zones around all moving equipment
■ Protect driveways, lawns, and landscaping — property damage is not acceptable
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✓ Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR — this is a hard requirement, not preferred
✓ Demonstrated experience operating a grapple truck, knuckle boom, or comparable loader/boom
equipment
✓ Experience with skid steer, mini-excavator, or tracked heavy equipment
✓ Comfortable working in tight access conditions and reading job sites
✓ Able to transition between equipment operation and ground labor as needed
✓ Strong communicator who takes direction well and keeps the crew informed
✓ Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs; comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Bonus if you have: Tree service or land clearing experience, OSHA 10/30, or basic mechanical
aptitude.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
