Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, both in-person and over the phone, understand their needs, answer queries, provide quotes and timelines, and follow up on orders.
Parts Identification: Indentify the correct parts using catalogs (physical and digital), understand part numbers.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, create purchase orders, manage backorders, and ensure all parts are correctly labeled and priced.
Order Processing: Place orders with suppliers, keep customers informed about their order.
Technical Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of how parts function and relate to each other to advise customers and identify correct parts.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with technicians, service advisors, and other staff members to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Record Keeping: Maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices, and special-order parts.
Workplace Maintenance: Keep counter areas clean and uncluttered.
Qualifications
