At Modern Dentistry of Minnetonka, we want to add a licensed dental assistant to our wonderful team to help care for our growing patient base.
We are a small private general dental practice that offers a one-stop shop for our patients - including implants, oral surgery with sedation, clear aligners, Botox & dermal filler esthetics, cosmetic treatments, and more. As such, we are looking for an experienced, licensed dental assistant who is dependable and excited to educate our patients on all facets of dental health solutions.
In this position, you will:
- Provide operatory and chairside assistance to our general dentists for all procedures
- Manage patient expectations; educate patients on preventative and post-procedure protocols
- Demonstrate competency in Dentrix electronic record keeping including appointment scheduling, charting, medical history, and software maintenance
- Deliver excellent patient care through good customer service
- Maintain clinic compliance with infection control and healthcare safety guidelines
- Participate in paid group training to increase efficiency with digital dentistry workflows and new practice software
- Take radiographs, intraoral/extraoral photos, analog and digital impressions for patient treatment planning
- Monitor office material stock and manage supply ordering
- Sterilize and organize instrumentation throughout the workday
Required to have:
- X-ray certification
- Possession of an active Dental Assistant License by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry (or eligibility to apply for in near future)
- Reliable transportation to commute to Minnetonka, MN 55305 office location
- Availability to work 8-10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday

Hourly compensation is offered in a range depending on past experience and/or current licensure in the state of Minnesota.
